Shown below are the notes I took during todays meeting / discussion:
- Keep the video simple by using the class room as the main location to film
- Zombie based attack at the school ?
- Detention room, with 3 regular characters / college students (based on breakfast clubs)
- World domination plans?
- Keep the video ideas / the actual video very simple!
- The detention room can link well with the zombie idea
After much discussion we came across a simple yet time consuming problem. The problem was that we as a group had not chosen a chair person for the meetings and also to keep the project together. After much discussion we decided that a class / group vote would work best in order to choose who was to be the head of the project. At the end of our 20 minute discussion as a group we decided to appoint Alex & Tim for the role of : 'Co-Chair'. Their role is to make sure that the project is kept together and that all ideas are sorted ready for the actual video.
When we discussed each idea seperatly we all decided that the zombie idea and also the world domination idea was far to complicated, and due to the strict time frame we are working in, it would be imposible to relate these 2 factors into the actual film productions / episodes.
So we decided to stick with the detention room, but we agreed to try and stick to making it as simple as possible, so that we dont come across any complications during the production of our micro-series.
Also today before the end of the lesson, we had a brief discussion on possible characters for the micro-series. Due to this only being a breif discussion of characters I was unable to take down any valid notes on this, but when we all next get together as a group for a meeting, the characters for the micro-series will the 1st point to make on the agenda, and I will make sure I discuss this with Alex and Tim before the next meeting.
