Show Project - Examples of micro-series

In the session today at Colridge we as a class were shown a collection of different micro-series productions in order to give us an insight into what we have to produce.

- living with the infidels -

A comedy web series launching 20th August 2009 on You Tube.

Developed with the support of a senior member of the Muslim Council of Britain, Living With The Infidels centres around a bumbling, Bradford-based terror cell. Initially set on a path to martyrdom, Yorkshire's jihadi warriors discover the West isn't as bad as it seems. Tempted by the likes of Man U, cable TV and ample Abi upstairs, what's a man to do? Will they find Paradise in the arms of seventy-two virgins, or is Shangri-La closer to home, propped up at the bar in The Dog and Duck?

- Chad Vader-

Life is hard when you're Darth Vader's less-talented, less-charismatic younger brother and you manage a grocery store. Matt Sloan and Aaron Yonda are best known for their video series Chad Vader, a viral internet sensation that has received over 25 million internet downloads and counting.

- We need girlfriends -

'We Need Girlfriends' chronicles the adventures of Tom (Patrick Cohen), Henry (Seth Kirschner) and Rod (Evan Bass), recent college graduates struggling to understand the complex world of the New York dating scene after all three are simultaneously dumped by their long-term college girlfriends. The series showcases a quirky sense of humor, along with some heart.

- The guild -

A comedy web series about a group of online gamers, and how they interact online and offline. Winner of they YouTube and Yahoo best web series awards in 2008, winner of three Streamy Awards in 2009.
