The executive producer (Nick) Decided that we needed to appoint a production manager for our group, whom will organize the paper work such as model release forms, request forms and risk assessments.
We decided as a group that Tara would be the best person for this role as she has a good sense of how each document is set up and written, so that is the main reason why we as a group decided she would be best for the role of "production manager'.
The 1st task that Tara was set by Nick was for Tara to set up a request form so that we can ask permission for the use of equipment, rooms, costumes etc from the executive producers (Nick & Pete).
Shown below is a full list of the tasks we completed today in class:
- Sorted out who is production manager (Tara)
- Organized risk assessment form & started work on it (Tara & Tim)
- Sorted out request for B102 room/ equipment (Tara)
- Sorted our paper work for auditions (script) (Mike)
- Constant update on face book, twitter & myspace (and checking emails) (Alie)
- Sound / possible bands found (9 emails from 9 different bands) (Sam)
- Model release form for auditions / filming (Mike)
- Camera operators organized for auditions (Ash & Tim)
- I personally took notes on the process today and directed people (along with Dave) within the group and made sure every one was ok with what they were doing
- I have also uploaded some cast photos to the face book profile, which I took during the past couple of work sessions with my group
Ideas for what to do tomorrow:
- Organize camera equipment for auditions at 12.20 - 2.40 (Tim & Ash)
- Sort out script /model release forms (Mike)
- Make sure everyone knows what to do before / during the auditions
- Direct everyone in the group and organize a plan at the start of tomorrows meeting with the team
- Film / take photos at the auditions tomorrow & make sure ALL audition participants fill out model release forms
